Chinsegut Hill Retreat and Conference Center

Artists & Photographers

“Location! Location! Location!” is a phrase most often associated with real estate agents. But those also are watchwords for photographers and artists seeking to be inspired by the beauty of nature. Chinsegut Hill Retreat and Conference Center is one of the most visually interesting locations in Hernando County and an ideal place to capture the essence of scenic Old Central Florida.

Creative juices will flow as soon as you pull onto the grounds of this unique landmark tucked away on one of the highest hills in Florida. In the shadow of a 160-year-old Manor House that was recently renovated, artists and photographers will be in awe of the panoramic vistas and gorgeous sunsets.

Artists and photographers have plenty of room for their supplies in seven reasonably-priced cottages that can sleep up to 56 people. Guests enjoy private beds and baths, but share dining and living areas and a well-equipped kitchen. In addition, there is a dining hall that seats up to 65, where meals can be prepared and served by an approved caterer. And, in case Mother Nature is not cooperating, groups can retreat into the 75-person conference room.
