Meetings and Corporate Retreats

Looking for a peaceful place to regroup and strengthen the organization you have worked so hard to build? Chinsegut Hill Retreat has the meeting and event space for your group to gather and interact casually in the secluded serenity of Florida’s Nature Coast.

Sitting atop one of the highest elevations in Florida, Chinsegut Hill Retreat is the perfect location for an off-site retreat for your employees or clients. Without the distractions that compete for attendees’ attentions at cookie-cutter conference rooms in metropolitan areas, Chinsegut Hill Retreat offers modern comforts in laid-back surroundings. You can focus on your mission and not be preoccupied with the comings and goings of outside groups or competing events.

Chinsegut Hill Retreat has seven well-equipped cottages for housing up to 56 guests, a 75-seat dining hall with a full-service kitchen available to you or caterers, and a free-standing classroom that accommodates 75.

The grounds are quintessential Old Florida, with canopy oaks providing shade on the grounds of a 160-year-old Manor House that is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. There is additional breakout meeting space in the manor house. The 115-acre property has hiking trails for exploring some of the most impressive natural habitat on Florida’s Nature Coast — bird-watchers alert! — and a nearby conservation center and wildlife management area offer additional trails and out door recreation.

If off-site recreation figures into your group’s plans, there are many entertainment options within a short distance of Chinsegut Hill Retreat. Championship golf courses await on The Brooksville Ridge. Antique shopping and delicious dining are minutes away in historic Brooksville, Spring Hill, Floral City and Inverness. The world-famous Weeki Wachee mermaids perform daily in the underwater theater at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, and endangered manatees (often mistaken for mermaids!) are waiting to greet visitors at Homosassa Springs State Park. Some of the best equestrian trails in Florida can be accessed in the Croom Tract of the Withlacoochee State Forest Forest, and a half-day canoe trip down the Withlachoochee River will get your group back to Chinsegut Hill in time for a cool drink and a sunset dinner.
